Healthy Eating

Everything we eat and drink our body has to process, get rid of the rubbish and use the good parts to function properly.  If we do not get adequate quality nutrition it will lead to disease, and if we get too much rubbish it will also lead to disease.

I am a big fan of keeping things as simple as possible.  Radical diets are usually just a phase and we do not stay on them long.  By the time we are finished with them our bodies have already gone through a few massive shocks due to the change in our habbits.

I would much rather recommend some simple steps that you can continue to use in a healthier lifestyle rather than a temporary diet.

Make changes slowly so it does not seem so difficult.  Easing into it is much easier than going cold turkey straight away.

Allow yourself to have treat days, possibly on Sunday or at someones birthday or a family gathering.
